The only kamea sigil generator that animates your sigil drawing across the grid and lets you download your sigil overlaid on the kamea itself. Seven classical planets. Free, no sign-up.
Traditional kamea sigil method removes vowels and repeated letters.

A kamea is a planetary magic square — a numbered grid where every row, column, and diagonal sums to the same constant. To create a kamea sigil, the letters of your word or intention are mapped to numbers using Pythagorean numerology, and those numbers are located on the grid. Straight lines connect each numbered position in sequence, forming a geometric symbol — your sigil.
The method comes from Western esoteric tradition. Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa documented the seven planetary kameas and their sigils in his Three Books of Occult Philosophy (1531), drawing on even older sources in Arabic and Jewish mysticism. Each planet's kamea has a distinct size and mathematical structure — Saturn's 3×3 is the most concentrated, the Moon's 9×9 the most expansive. We use only the seven classical planets of traditional planetary magic, in the lineage from Agrippa to the present day. For warding and protection work specifically, the protection sigil generator offers intention-guided sigils across three protective traditions.
Letters cycle through 1–9 using Pythagorean numerology. Each number appears multiple times on larger kameas, which is why longer words create more complex sigil paths.
This same Pythagorean system is one of five methods used in the personal sigil generator — try both to see how the same word produces different symbols across different traditions.
The seven classical planets only — Saturn through Moon. Traditional planetary magic uses this unbroken lineage from Agrippa's Three Books of Occult Philosophy (1531) to the present day. No Uranus, Neptune, or Pluto.
Select the planet that matches your working. Venus for love and beauty, Jupiter for abundance, Saturn for protection and structure, Mars for courage, the Sun for success, Mercury for communication, the Moon for intuition and dreams.
Your letters are mapped to numbers on the kamea and plotted in sequence. Watch each cell highlight as the sigil path draws itself across the grid — the process itself is a form of focused intention. For a circular letter-grid approach, the witches wheel sigil generator plots letters around a wheel instead of a numbered square — used in Wiccan and chaos magic traditions.
Download your sigil and use it during the planet's ruling day for maximum correspondence. The planet info panel above shows the ruling day for your chosen planet. For precise planetary hour timing, a free calculator is available at astro.com. Trace the sigil by hand using the PDF trace sheet to deepen the practice.
Download as SVG, PNG, or transparent PNG for tattoos and journals. The 'with kamea grid' PNG shows the sigil overlaid on the actual numbered grid — useful for grimoire records. All downloads free, no account required.
The kamea method works because every planet's magic square has a fixed mathematical structure. The same number always sits in the same cell, so the same letter always maps to the same grid position. That consistency means two people who enter the same intention on the same planet get the same sigil. It is deterministic in a way the letter method is not. If you want a sigil that is mathematically reproducible and grounded in a specific planetary tradition, the kamea is the right tool. If you want something more personal and abstract, try the intention sigil creator instead.
